We meet on the natural beach of Thiessow on the island of Rügen.
Where the Greifswald Bodden meets the open Baltic Sea, we can see the constantly changing dynamics of the sea particularly well. Pioneer plants on the coast are versatile adaptation artists in this habitat! In an entertaining walk, we will find the small and large plants that we see every day on the beach - but have never really paid attention to.
There's also so much life in the sea's mudflats - let's take a closer look!
Feel free to bring sun protection and your camera, there will be plenty of time and opportunities for beautiful photos.
