Plant and seed exchange with pricking station
It's that time again - the popular swap meet invites all amateur gardeners to a fun seed and plant swap - this time in the new community garden. Here you can discover new varieties, swap cuttings and offshoots of perennials or bring your own seeds or seedlings and offer them for exchange. At the pricking out station, everyone can try their hand at pricking out the tender tomato plants. Once again, there will be a rich variety of seed-resistant and regionally adapted tomato varieties from the seed library. The initiator of the community garden, Sus Reeg, shows native plants that are essential for the survival of pollinating insects and bring a colorful diversity to the garden.
Gardening together shows us that even small things can make a big difference! Fellow gardeners are very welcome. The garden group meets every Thursday at 2 p.m. in the community garden.
Participation is free of charge.
Please register in good time via the city library: Tel.: 0 38 21 - 89 34 520.
The event is part of the program for Agenda 2030 - the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Organizer is the city library in cooperation with fruchtwechsel e.V.
