Myrta Biberstein, an artist from Emmental in Switzerland, has been painting and drawing in the region around Stralsund, on the island of Rügen and throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for many years. In addition to paintings from the region, she is presenting drawings and sketches from her travel sketchbooks for the first time in this year's exhibition at Galerie C. Stabenow in Stralsund. In each case, she places motifs from the Baltic Sea region in relation to motifs from her home region.
