Tuesday, 24.02.2026 at 15:30 "Carnival in the henhouse" by Kerstin Hau. All picture book cinemas are free of charge, start at 3.30 pm and last approx. 15 minutes. They are suitable for children aged 4 - 6 years. Subject to change. At the picture book cinema, children look at the pictures of a picture book together on a screen while the story is read to them. The children can experience imaginative and exciting stories together, discover details in the pictures and answer questions. In this way, they learn how to handle books, listen to and understand stories and are introduced to literature and reading in a playful way.
Fox Fiete is hungry. Of course, he comes up with a cunning plan in a flash when he hears about the chickens' disguise party: Dressed up as a chicken-who-has-disguised-himself-as-a-fox, he sneaks into the party. But as soon as he arrives under the disco ball, the chickens Heike and Gertrud take him limbo dancing and the chicks go hay bale jumping. Fiete takes a confetti shower, drinks sisterhood with Cordula, eats pancakes and has a lot of fun. As he prances home - DUMM DI DUMM - he remembers what he forgot: to eat the chickens!
