Squirrel can't believe his eyes when he sleepily crawls out of his tree one morning: everything outside is white. No wonder, because it is winter and it has snowed overnight. Snow? Squirrel has never heard of it. But luckily he has his best friend, Bird, who shows him how much fun it can be. That's right, Squirrel thinks, a snowball fight is really great. But when he wakes up the next morning excited and looking forward to even more great games in the snow, the white splendor is already gone again. Squirrel is certain that a cheeky snow thief is up to mischief! Has he also stolen the beloved hazelnuts? (Publisher's text)
