Ramon Lorete, Brazil, will give a virtuoso piano concert on March 15 at the Glasbahnhof Sassnitz; admission 18/12 euros, children pay half price.
Ramon Lorete, born in 1998, is a successful young pianist and conductor from Brazil. In Europe, he demonstrates his skills with virtuoso works such as Franz Liszt's Liebestraum and music by Chopin and Schumann, as well as with fiery Brazilian music.
Ramon is, among other things, first répétiteur at the Brazilian opera house Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro. He is also a member of the Trupe Barroca orchestra, where he works as a pianist, harpsichordist and choirmaster. He has also performed operas with Trupe Barroca. As a soloist, he has performed works such as Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 and Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23.
As a child, Ramon received seven years of varied lessons in piano and several other subjects from the conductor Alex Bergstedt, who now lives on the island of Rügen. At the age of 15, he was accepted into the preliminary class of the Espirito Santo State Conservatory of Music, where he later taught. In addition to piano, he studied choral and orchestral conducting. He also has extensive experience as a harpsichordist, organist and accordionist. His studies were supplemented by several master classes.
On the occasion of a performance in Paris and in Zurich, Ramon uses the trip to Europe to get to know European cultural centers and to visit his old teacher on Rügen. It is thanks to this fortunate circumstance that this young Brazilian can be admired not only in Paris and Zurich but also on Rügen, on Sunday, March 15, 5 p.m., at the concert grand piano in the Glasbahnhof in Sassnitz harbour. Admission costs €12, the first four rows €18. Children pay half price.
