The exhibition "BLICKSCHRIFT" by Angelika Janz reflects the depth of the Düsseldorf-born artist's work. She studied German language and literature, art history and philosophy. Since moving to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the 1990s, the focus of her work has been on the image-text relationship in various artistic media. Starting with scripted drawings, collages and visual poetry, her artistic investigations into the possibilities of image-text constellations extend to serial works. This results in works that give the viewer pause.
