With all the anecdotes we’ve experienced on tour, we could have written a bestseller long ago—working title: “Between the Highway, Arpeggios, and Applause.” But since, as everyone knows, we’re better at making music, we’ve packed it all into a new, exciting program. So: Buckle up—we’re taking you along on our very own personal tour of Germany! Up close, completely honest—sometimes a little too honest… We’ll spill the beans: about encounters, mishaps, shining moments, and “What-just-happened?!” situations from over 10 years on the road.
It’s about us. About you. About that very special connection between the stage and the audience. And about why the “sex, drugs, and rock ’n’ roll” cliché is more like… let’s say… “coffee, tangled cables, and chanson” for us. We’ll tell you about Marie and Jenny—in their private lives, unfiltered, and with the right dose of self-deprecating humor. About life on tour, from the best coffee in the country to hotels you’d be better off entering only in the dark. And yes… also about the noises from the next room that you’d rather not try to figure out… And of course, we, dear audience, take this opportunity to answer the many questions we’re asked time and again after our concerts: whether we sleep in the car after the show and at what time, whether Jenny really is a neglectful mother, whether Marie really speaks proper German, and why we don’t play “La Mer” in the “Parisian Flair” setlist.
Musically, you can expect a delightful mix of modern chansons and beloved classics—from Brel to Barbara to Dalida. And yes, we’ve also got a few of our own songs in the setlist. From the heart. And for you. So: No need to pack a suitcase—we’ve got enough, and we’re traveling together.
