Indie pop-rock from Norway
The Norwegian duo from the sister city of Hamar, whose heartfelt indie pop was incredibly well-received at the “Nordischer Klang” festival, is returning to Greifswald—bringing their new album, *Letters*, with them. Musically, the duo draws inspiration from the organic warmth of 1970s recordings—with expansive arrangements and a lively, organic instrumentation. At the same time, the album pays homage to the alternative pop-rock of the 1990s, with strong melodies, distinctive guitar lines, raw energy, and a spirit of discovery. Papercrown consists of Johanne Kippersund and Ørnulv Snortheim.
