Sylva Tkotsch life affirmation on over 150 m² of exhibition space in painting, sculpture, illustration and poetry.
Sylva Tkotsch survived a brain haemorrhage and a coma. Instead of letting this stroke of fate get her down, she used it as an impetus to break new ground and rediscover her passion for art and culture. A creative source of strength emerged from the ruins of her injuries. She has reinvented herself as an artist: she paints and designs in all techniques and with many materials - and with great success! And when she is not painting, she is writing poetry: she paints with words.
The complex, expressive structures of her paintings and sculptures are individual inventions of form. Sylva answers the riddles that life throws at us with lightness and playfulness. Her art does not trigger uncertainty and fear, but seems to call out: "Hey, even if you don't always understand life, embrace it and enjoy it".
