The English-born organist William Peart is an organ lecturer at the Greifswald Institute for Church Music and Musicology. He studied organ, harpsichord and conducting in England and Germany. William Peart has a busy concert schedule in Germany and Europe. He works with major orchestras and renowned choirs.
Peart is predestined for this concert with works by Maurice Duruflé due to his work on Duruflé's complete organ works. He is also very attached to the works of Bach. In 2023, he founded the Ensemble 300+ to mark the 300th anniversary of Bach's inauguration as Thomaskantor in Leipzig.
