Opening of the Special Exhibition
Lisa Massow’s photo exhibition “Zwischenräume” is a photographic project exploring the subjective perception of the city of Parchim. The images do not depict traditional cityscapes; instead, they navigate the realm of reflections, shadows, fog, structures, and facades. Clear geographical references are deliberately used sparingly and subtly, so that the city is understood not as a self-contained place, but rather as a fabric of transitions. This creates an open portrait of the city that observes rather than describes.
“Interstices” conceives of the city not as a fixed state, but as a process that takes shape in the “in-between.”
The exhibition will be on view from November 12, 2026, to February 14, 2027, in the reception area (4th floor) of the museum.
