Women's resistance to National Socialism was courageous, multifaceted, and fraught with risk, yet it has been almost forgotten today.
The exhibition shows that they existed. Despite their different backgrounds, worldviews, and temperaments, these women resisted and stood up to the totalitarian system with their humanity—in the face of all dangers.
The women of the resistance from BACK THEN urge us not to look away, but to show moral courage and protect our democracy—HERE & NOW—more than ever.
The exhibition is on view through July 22, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., at St. Spiritus, entrance on Lange Straße, 1st floor
. Admission is free!
