From radiant to stormy: Classical Modernism shows its multifaceted weather and mood images!
The title of the exhibition "Bright to Cloudy" refers not only to meteorological conditions, but also to the emotional and artistic range of the works on display. From light-flooded landscapes to dramatically moving skies, from impressionistic lightness to expressive condensation: the exhibition shows how artists of classical modernism interpreted nature, mood and abstraction in a unique way.
With works on loan from the Kunsthalle Rostock, Ahrenshoop Art Museum, Schwaan Art Museum and Güstrow City Museum.
