Signal House B2 Opens Its Doors for Heritage Day
On Open Monument Day, Signal Box B2 will open its doors to interested visitors. The event offers a rare opportunity to get a glimpse into the workings of a historic signal box and learn more about its importance to railroad operations.
A special highlight is the commentary provided by former employees who know the signal box firsthand. They vividly explain the tasks and procedures that used to take place there, share stories from their daily work, and offer fascinating insights into the technology and responsibilities associated with working in a signal box.
Signal Box B2 thus takes center stage not only as a technical monument but also as a place of living history. Visitors can gain an understanding of how rail traffic was organized and managed in past decades—and what role the signal box played in that process.
