Special tours, tower tours
September 13, 2026, is "Open Monument Day" in Stralsund.
We cordially invite you to St. Mary’s Church in Stralsund (open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; last tower climb at 5:30 p.m.). On September 13, 2026, special tours and tower climbs are free of charge. However, we ask for a donation to St. Mary’s Church in Stralsund:
Special tours: 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.: Vault tour; 1:00 p.m.: Church tour (with conservator J. Amelung from the State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments); 2:00 p.m.: Tour of the St. Mary’s Cemetery; tower ascents available all day / free admission
The Apollonia Chapel is open to visitors.
