Experience Architecture and History
End-of-Season Event at the Old Tile Factory
Following a successful summer season, this event offers one last chance to explore this unique technical monument. Starting in 1905, stove tiles were shaped and fired in this building. Later, it served as a storage facility and has been largely preserved in its original condition. Guests will learn interesting details about the manual production of stove tiles and can admire severalhistoric tiled stoves, some of which have been reconstructed. Visitors can also experience the popular raku firing and a pottery demonstration with Cornelia Poppe. The potter from Waren will bring her colorful ceramics, which visitors are welcome to admire and purchase.
