Freely adapted from "Mary Poppins" by Michaela Deichl and Peter Kurz
"I quit! I don't want to have anything to do with such horrible children." Countless nannies in the Banks family have already fled in this way. The parents are at a loss: what is going wrong with their offspring? In a last-ditch attempt to get the "problem" under control, they place an ad in which they make their demands of the childcare provider clear: The children should finally be put "in order". The siblings naturally see things differently and formulate their own wishes: fun, games, understanding. A conflict that only a very special nanny can resolve.
Mary Poppins. With her and her favorite word: "supercalifragilistikexpialigoric", things are suddenly possible that can't actually exist. You come up with the greatest ideas and discover what is really important. Together with Bert, a chimney sweep and old friend of Mary's, the three of them experience the most incredible adventures: talking animals, pictures you can jump into and much more. Find out how the Banks children's parents react and whether they are infected by Mary's zest for life in this year's STiC summer theater in the TPZ courtyard.
