Organ and saxophone in concert: original compositions, baroque, classical music, folk songs, improvisations
It was a wonderful feeling to play once again in Greifswald's St. Nikolai Cathedral! A fantastic church where I have performed with choirs before and also played myself," wrote the composer, organist and choirmaster, whom we invited as a musical ambassador from Greifswald's Swedish twin city of Lund.
"I enjoy playing concerts together with another musician, where the focus is on the harmony between the organ and the second instrument. I find that this way of playing enables a particularly rich and lively musical expression, which is also greatly appreciated by the audience."
He suggested the saxophonist, clarinettist and composer Hans Nilsson, who also lives and works in Lund, as a concert partner.
