The Night of Percussion 2026 has the motto "Celebrating Steve Reich" and is dedicated to one of the most important composers of our time. Steve Reich, who celebrates his 90th birthday this year, is considered a pioneer of minimal music and has had a lasting impact on the world of percussion with his innovative rhythm concepts. The students of the percussion class of Prof. Jan-Frederick Behrend, Prof. Torsten Schönfeld and Martin Barth celebrate this musical legacy with an energetic concert evening.
