Celebrate the New Year in Karlshagen!
Families, friends, and ice swimmers can enjoy a colorful program with fun for New Year’s Eve fans of all ages, parties at the concert shell (Dec. 30–31) and legendary traditions like the Christmas tree toss, the lantern parade on the beach, and the New Year’s ice swimming in the Baltic Sea.

IMPORTANT—FIREWORKS-FREE ZONE!
For the sake of our youngest guests and as a gesture toward the environment, this year there will again be a designated “fireworks zone” only in the area between 10 N and 10 M, where setting off fireworks is permitted. The beach forecourt and the rest of the beach area remain “firework-free”; the use of fireworks is prohibited here. In general, Karlshagen also urges residents to reduce or stop private New Year’s Eve fireworks displays.
