Novels, crime novels, travel guides, children's books, maps and much more: On Saturday, November 15, 2025, various publishers from Stralsund and the region will present themselves on the first floor of the Stralsund City Library.
Mövenort Verlag, Darss Verlag, Karl-Lappe-Verlag, Arvid Verlag, Christine Koch . selbstundanders . Stralsund, Strandläufer Verlag and Edition Pommern.
Some authors, such as Marina Loose and Janet Lindemann, accompany their publishers and give an insight into their current works.
Meanwhile, a colorful reading adventure for all ages awaits you in the event cellar of the city library:
- 11 a.m.: Marina Loose "Potz Schwertfisch und 1000 Aale Oder: Eine unglaubliche Reise um die Welt. (A book for children aged 6 and over)
- 12 noon: Peter Hoffmann "Echte Strunken" (A new Stralsund crime novel)
- 1 pm: Dorina Kasten "The sea knows the answer" (Mönchgut 1872, Stralsund 2024, 2 women, 2 fates)
- 2 pm: Peter Danker-Carstensen "The end of the war 1945 in Stralsund" (diaries and memories of W. Adler and K. Rieck)
- 3 p.m.: Reinhard Bach "Ernst Moritz Arndt - Peace Freedom Democracy"
- 4 p.m.: Christine Koch reads from "Spiegelbilder" - the present and the past
