A play with music about Anne Frank and life in the Secret Annex
With "Never again. Now!", LESS STAGE is bringing a new play with music to the stage that deals with Anne Frank's life and everyday life in the Secret Annex.
The production tells of fear and hope, of confinement and closeness, of growing up under inhumane conditions. It combines historical events with timeless questions about identity, responsibility and humanity. The book for this new version of the play was written by Christoph Deuter. The music, specially composed by Agi Nelken and Levi Koseleck, intensifies the emotional impact and makes inner conflicts and longings audible.
"Never again" is not a distant promise - it is a conscious attitude that is also in demand today.
The production sees itself as a clear statement against anti-Semitism, exclusion and misanthropy and invites us not only to remember history, but also to draw conclusions for the present.
A moving evening of theater that connects the past and the present - and makes it clear why Anne Frank's voice still needs to be heard today.
