In cooperation with the Müritz National Park, we are showing the winners of the German Nature Film Award 2025
Together with the Müritz National Park, the Müritzeum invites you to a special nature film series. On four evenings between November 2025 and January 2026, the award-winning films from the renowned Darß Nature Film Festival 2025 will be shown in the Müritzeum cinema. Ulf Zimmermann, Head of the Müritz National Park Authority, will welcome guests to the opening event on November 7.
The films offer fascinating insights into local nature and diverse habitats around the world and deal with current nature conservation issues. The film series aims to create a sustainable understanding of the global interrelationships of our planet and to encourage a deeper examination of current environmental issues.
With this event, the German Nature Film Foundation and the umbrella organization National Natural Landscapes e. V. are taking the German Nature Film Award 2025 beyond the traditional venue of the Darß to the national parks for the first time.
The film screenings will start at 7 pm. Two shorter films will be shown on selected evenings. Admission is free, donations are requested. Drinks will be offered.
The program starts with two films:
Our Forests - Network of Animals (director: Jan Haft) - Jury Prize Film Music and Prize of the Children and Youth Jury
Europe is Glowing - How Heatwaves Change Our Lives (Director: Mike Plitt) - Jury Prize for Cinematic Implementation of Climate Change Adaptation
