Musical Fever

| From Mamma Mia to Rock

on Saturday, May 8, 2027

at 8:00 p.m.

VENUE Kulturkirche St. Jakobi | Nave

The two exceptional artists, Barbara Raunegger and Martina Haeger, will take you on a musical journey through the world of musicals. Look forward to the most beautiful melodies from the most successful musicals of the past decades, such as *West Side Story*, *Kiss Me, Kate*, *My Fair Lady*, *The Phantom of the Opera*, *Cats*, *Cabaret*, *Beauty and the Beast*, and *Frozen*. ABBA Meets Mamma Mia —the songs of the iconic Swedish band ABBA have become absolute classics and have since conquered both musical theater stages and the big screen. For once, don’t settle for just another ABBA cover band—instead, experience Barbara Raunegger and Martina Haeger, two outstanding artists who will take you behind the scenes of the musical “Mamma Mia” with music, wit, and charm. Look forward to amusing stories that Barbara Raunegger can share with you firsthand—after all, she played one of the leading roles in “Mamma Mia” on stage for years and has even met the four ABBA stars herself. But of course, the music of the legendary Swedish quartet takes center stage this evening as the two charismatic singers rock the stage.

Martina Haeger

Soprano Martina Haeger studied classical voice at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the music academies in Graz and Dresden, and the Vienna Conservatory. She made her debut as a soloist at the Dresden State Operetta while still a student, where she went on to perform in over 30 different leading roles. Since then, she has been thrilling audiences worldwide with her unique voice and charisma on theater and concert stages—whether in Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Stuttgart, or in Israel, Scandinavia, Prague, and Athens.

Barbara Raunegger

A native of Austria, she studied in Vienna and the United States. After appearing in various productions on stage in Vienna, she made her German debut in 1997 in “Les Misérables.” She subsequently appeared, among other roles, in the world premiere of Disney’s “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and wowed audiences in “Beauty and the Beast,” “Wicked: The Witches of Oz,” “Dance of the Vampires,” and “Sister Act.” In 2002, she was cast as Rosi in the German premiere of “Mamma Mia,” a role that became her signature part and which she most recently performed in Berlin in 2020.
