Concert featuring Jackbeat and songs from the '60s at StuK in Güstrow—free and outdoors—followed by an oldies disco with DJ To MasH.
For the first time, Club StuK in Güstrow is hosting a concert as part of the "Music in the Old Town" series—or, as we might say, "Music on the Outskirts of the Old Town."
The band JACKBEAT is dedicated to the music of the 1960s. Their setlist features no experiments, just hits. Walter, Jack, and “Schuller” bring their authentic trio sound—featuring guitar, bass, and drums, with everyone singing—right into the here and now. Jackbeat is a kind of musical museum featuring rock and pop classics with a youthful spirit. The set includes songs by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, Gloria Jones, the Spencer Davis Group, the Troggs, Jimi Hendrix, and many more.
Following the concert, starting around 8:00 PM, DJ To MasH. invites you to an oldies disco.
The band will be playing in the StuK beer garden; in case of bad weather, there are plenty of roofs and umbrellas so no one has to get wet.
There will be a barbecue at StuK tonight, and there will also be some delicious snacks from the Güstrow restaurant Schnick Schnack.
Drink prices are very reasonable, and there’s a delicious strawberry punch. Admission is free.
