Music Flowers on the Violin
Enchanting pieces from film, pop, and rock
Violin and host: Marcin Diling
The musician captivates audiences with emotional yet rousing arrangements of well-known film, pop, and rock songs—pieces that often get under your skin. He also impresses with the warm, expressive sound of his 1909 concert violin, a “Grand Pattern Strad–Messiah,” crafted in the style of one of the most significant violin makers of the early 20th century, Ladislaus Baczynski.
Marcin Diling comes from a musical family—his mother is an opera singer, and his father is a rock musician. At the age of seven, he was already performing on stage at the Szczecin Philharmonic. He completed his violin studies at the University of Music and Theater in Rostock. As a young violinist, he participated in international master classes for violinists in Denmark, Germany, and Poland. He has also appeared on TV talent shows such as “Das Supertalent” and the music show “Must Be The Music.” Enchanting audiences with his violin is and remains his greatest passion.
