On Whit Monday, May 25, the traditional mill festival will take place on the mill grounds.
The Förderkreis Mühle Wittenburg e.V. and the town of Wittenburg cordially invite you to the Mill Day. The mayor and members of the association will open the festival at 11 am. The Erdholländermühle can be visited all day and members of the Förderkreis will also be on hand to answer questions. The MehlWelten Museum (Amtsberg 2) will also be open from 12 noon to 5 pm.
Program:
- 11:00 a.m. | Turning the mill into the wind, opening with the mayor & association members, vintage car parade with presentation
- 12:15 p.m. | Liedertafel Wittenburg with choirmaster Günter Golling and the "Mill Song"
- 12:45 p.m. | Max Nadzeika on the accordion
- 2:00 p.m. | Opening of the family festival, march-in of the Wittenburg Fanfare Band (conducted by Anika Krohn)
- 14:20 | "Wittenburger Lindwürmchen" (conducted by Conny Koch)
- 14:50 | DreamDancer (Directed by Romina Will)
- 3:20 pm | Kriedelfix puppet theater: "Puss in Boots" (Bauernmarkthalle)
- 3:30 p.m. | Hagenower Dörpschaft performance
- 4:00 p.m. | Mill crafting with Martina Kriedel (farmers' market hall)
- 4:30 p.m. | Kriedelfix puppet theater: "Rumpelstiltskin" (farmers' market hall)
Mill bread, lard sandwiches, pork on a spit, fish sandwiches, langos, coffee and cake are on offer all day.
