From September 19 to 28, 2025, the "Dementia Week" will take place nationwide with World Alzheimer's Day on September 21. Grevesmühlen is also taking part in the themed week with various activities.

Plot: Ten-year-old Romy spends the afternoons in her grandmother Stine's hairdressing salon because her divorced mother Margot has to work. Romy is anything but enthusiastic about the situation until she discovers that Stine is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Romy quickly realizes that she will soon have to take care of her grandmother. As Stine changes more and more and tells stories about her childhood in Denmark, a close bond develops between granddaughter and grandmother.
