Movie Time in Malchow
"No Way Out – Against the Flames" (original title: Only the Brave) is a gripping 2017 disaster and heroic epic. The film is based on the true story of the “Granite Mountain Hotshots,” an elite firefighting squad in Arizona that became the first municipal unit in the U.S. to be officially designated as “Hotshots.”
The plot follows the charismatic leader Eric Marsh as he transforms a group of misfits into elite firefighters. A central role is played by Brandon “Donut” McDonough, a former drug addict whom Marsh gives a second chance. The film depicts the team’s grueling daily life and their deep camaraderie. The dramatic climax is the devastating wildfire in Yarnell in 2013, during which 19 of the 20 men lost their lives in a tragic mission.
