Movie Time in Malchow
Finn was supposed to spend the weekend with his father in Berlin, but his father is too stressed out from work. While riding the train alone, the boy has his backpack—along with his ticket and cell phone—stolen, after which the conductor hands him over to the police. On the way to the police station, Finn meets Jola. She frees him from the police car and convinces the initially shy Finn to hitchhike with her to the sea. Together, the two runaways embark on an adventurous journey across eastern Germany, during which they flee on tractors, chase thieves, and form a deep friendship.
