Neubrandenburg Fairy Tale Week 2026 · A Modern Witch's Fairy Tale for Adults
USA 2026, Director: Susanne Bier, Runtime: 130 minutes
Starring: Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Joey King, Maisie Williams, Dianne Wiest, and others
Together with the next generation of Owens women, Sally and Gillian must confront an ancient family curse that has haunted their family for centuries. When Kylie’s true love is put in danger by the curse, the women embark on an adventurous journey that takes them deep into the secrets of their magical family history. Amid mysterious spells, plenty of love, and a whole lot of chaos, they discover that some curses can only be broken by sticking together.
“Practical Magic 2” blends fantasy, humor, and family history with a fairy-tale world full of witches and magic. At the heart of the story are the special power of sisterhood and the question of whether fate can truly be influenced by magic—an enchanting sequel for everyone who loved the first film and for anyone looking for a break from the frustrations of reality.
