IIt's blues time: musicians from the international blues scene will be visiting Binz this year from 11 to 14 June for the multi-award-winning Blue Wave Festival Binz. Plucking, drumming and singing in many places will make New Orleans pale with envy.
A special highlight are the "Pink Piano" concerts on the Kurplatz, with musicians as soloists or in bands - an experience not only for blues connoisseurs.
MONTIGO RIM (DEU)
The live band "Montigo Rim" from Berlin wraps multi-layered sounds in a velvety-soft pop garment. Like an elegant evening gown that wraps itself around the band's groove. The voices tell stories of the beauty and complexity of the human emotional world, while they are in constant dialog with the saxophone. Airy arrangements always leave room for improvisation. Founded in 2019, the band presents its audience with original compositions and soulful interpretations of well-known songs.
Montigo Rim is an expression of the musical passion for soul and jazz that drives the seven musicians alongside their professional music careers.
