And then there are model railroaders who build a complete layout on a very small area. This is particularly impressive in terms of detail. Not only is the telegraph line exactly reproduced, but complete houses with interior fittings and lighting are also built.
To bring these small works of art together, a "small layout meeting" is held in the Ehm Welk House. No layout will be larger than two square meters. From a small tramway layout in N gauge, to an amusement park in H0f gauge, two round layouts and a 30 cm wide layout based on Polish motifs, there will be some real model railroad gems on display.
You are welcome to ask the builders and get a tip or two for your home layout.
