Where poets and thinkers have fallen silent, satirists must step in and take stock of the German soul. In their first cabaret program together, Christian Miedreich and René Sydow play German archetypes and those who want to become them. From the Swabian family man to the kiosk owner from the Ruhrpott, from the plastic surgeon to the cab driver from - well - probably every big city. Perhaps even historical celebrities will drop by. Maybe it will be revealing, maybe bitter, but either way it will be political cabaret with German thoroughness, but without any German pomposity - after all, the two satirists are men of the world.
And if you, as a non-German, have the feeling that these guys look familiar to you, then it's possible that we Europeans might have more in common than it seems at first glance.
