The Rossin manor house in its consistently simple design is a remarkable, classicist building that never ceases to surprise visitors. Inside, the house reveals an impressive picture and bears witness to the artistic and cultural understanding of its builder, August Friedrich Theodor Kolbe. Built in 1836, four pillars flank the staircase running north-south and support the central octagonal glass dome. Like a sundial, the light passes through this dome into the spacious staircase. Dr. Heinrich Berghaus - professor of applied mathematics at the Bauakademie Berlin in 1824, geodatist and cartographer - mentioned the Rossin estate in his "Landbuch Herzogthum Stettin 1865" as one of the most beautiful estates in the Anklamsche Kreis.
