The Behrenshagen manor house opens its doors for the MidsummerRemise with guided tours, an exhibition and culinary delights.
The MidsummerRemise invites you to discover historic manor houses and manor houses in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern around the summer solstice. On June 20 and 21, 2026, numerous houses will open their doors and combine history, culture, culinary delights and special insights into otherwise unusual places.
The Behrenshagen manor house is also taking part with a varied program. The estate is located near the Recknitz river and has been carefully renovated by its current owners Roberto and Britta Siebenbürgen. The park and manor house have visibly blossomed into new life in recent years; the grounds include an orchard, a near-natural park landscape and the estate's own apiary.
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, visitors are invited to Behrenshagen from 10 am to 6 pm. There will be guided tours of the park and discussions with the owners, an exhibition of paintings by local artists, insights into the ongoing renovation and a play area for children. There will also be a light lunch, coffee and cake, summer punch, homemade juices and honey from the park's own apiary.
