On September 27, 1353, the former manor and current art and culture estate of the Heimvolkshochschule Vogelsang e.V. was first mentioned in a document.
Over the past 600 years, the former manor has been transformed into a manor house, which was built in 1853 and has also been used as a hunting lodge in the meantime.
The manor house, which is over 170 years old, has been used by the Vogelsang Adult Education Center Association since July 5, 1991 and is preserved as a cultural estate in Mecklenburg.
A small, committed group of voluntary association members would like to preserve the manor house for future generations and reorganize it as a non-profit, creative meeting place.
