From July 10 to August 23, 2026, during the summer, the area behind the Dierhagen Strand festival grounds will be transformed into a colorful spectacle.
Magic and witchcraft?
No...many hard-working hands are creating a large tournament grounds, imaginatively designed stages, craft stalls, tents, and medieval encampments on the meadow behind the movie theater—all in an unforgettable atmosphere.
For six weeks, you can join noble knights on horseback, merchants and artisans, musicians, jugglers, magicians, comedians, witches, and fire dancers as they go about their daily work.
You’ll experience our special attraction with the Berkano & Friends Equestrian Theater. The grand jousting tournament showcases the battle for glory and honor. Every day, they compete boldly on horseback in a wide variety of disciplines, and on weekends, you can watch this spectacle twice.
The square, with its vibrant colors, invites you to stroll, marvel, and join in the fun.
Dare to step inside the fortune-teller’s cottage. Meet the woodworkers,
, and marvel at their craftsmanship. Learn the crafts of days gone by and purchase wonderful goods for yourselves and your families.
Refreshing drinks await you, and the Brätereyen will take care of your culinary needs. Afterward, treat yourself to a massage and take a hot, medieval bath in the Zuber.
Refreshed and relaxed, you can spend the whole day with us and enjoy the program. In the evening, we warmly invite you to linger by the bonfires, enjoy the atmosphere of the lovingly illuminated market, and reflect on the exciting day.
