An event organized by the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heath Star Park in cooperation with the Rostock Astronomical Society
At the Mecklenburg Telescope Meeting, the astronomical clubs of the north open their doors to interested visitors. A wide variety of telescopes are available, from beginner to professional models. At the beginning, a star guide will provide information about the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Star Park. Visitors can then wander from one telescope to another, talk to the amateur astronomers and use their gaze to wander through different galaxies, observe planets or other astronomical objects. The event starts at 9 p.m. in front of the entrance to the Garder See campsite, Am See 3, 18276 Lohmen. Please allow a small entrance fee for day visitors to the campsite. A red light flashlight is recommended for the walk.
