A tribute to Lisl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin presented by the Parktheater Edelbruch.
Now in the autumn of their relationship, Karl and Lisl are experiencing a second spring during their summer getaway. The well-matched couple tries to overcome the hurdles of their vacation, only to get caught up in their own mental pitfalls. In this production, the Parktheater Edelbruch explores Karl Valentin’s humor, which is often taken to absurd extremes.
Kristin Giertler and Thomas Kornmann step into the roles of Karl Valentin and Lisl Karlstadt. In doing so, without resorting to the Bavarian dialect, they revel in twisted logic and absurd wordplay. An evening full of everyday poetry.
