An entertaining evening for all indie folk lovers
Mensch, Monique! are Jule Schröder (vocals & bass), known from her time with The Beez, and Georg Sassnowski (vocals & guitar), musician of the Magical Mystery Band, among others.
They have been writing songs together since 2007 - their first song "Ich liebe Musik" quickly became the highlight of many Beez shows worldwide.
Their attitude to life between Berlin bohemia, country life by the lake and the ocean is reflected in their sound: beautiful harmonies, unexpected solos and a mixture of funk, soul, jazz and singer-songwriter - genuine Berlin indie folk.
Their lyrics, mostly in German, are poetic, playful and true to life.
