WHY are VALUES important for us and our city of Schwerin? HOW do we make important VALUES visible and tangible for us? WHAT does community mean to us?

Museum for Values

The Museum of Values is more than just a fixed location - it is a network of people who create, support and make values visible with their stories.
It is a socio-cultural project for human encounters and communication that unites creative minds, facilitators and initiators. (www.wertemuseum.de).
With almost 10 years of professional and international experience, the idea was born to make values tangible for cities, e.g. with the question: "What does community mean for us and for our city? What constitutes community? Responsibility, trust, cohesion, respect?"

Citizens of the city are picked up in the realities of their lives and individual experiences are brought into focus. People can tell their stories, creating deep, lasting and peaceful encounters.
We are delighted that the Museum of Values is coming to Schwerin in September and October 2025 to create spaces for values, encounters and democracy with all Schwerin residents who are interested.
In a workshop and an interactive exhibition, everyone is invited to reflect on ideas, ask questions and get to know new perspectives.
