The Buffo Theater is staging a Shakespeare play
Shakespeare knows how to craft great drama—and Theater Buffo knows how to handle it.
What begins as a wild idea hatched by the witches quickly turns into a disaster. Heads roll, power games are played, and manipulation, assassination, and intrigue run their course. “Macbeth” tells of the struggle for power and seduction, of ambition, conscience, loyalty, and betrayal within a web of relationships that increasingly spirals out of control. Much of it is surprisingly timeless.
In its latest production, Theater Buffo tackles Shakespeare’s royal drama with enthusiasm and humor—as always, it’s funny, tragic, tragicomic, and guaranteed to be entertaining.
An evening for everyone who loves Shakespeare. And for everyone who wants to experience him in a different way.
Starring Moritz Röhl and Thomas Fedrowitz
