Despite the weather—which is now far too warm and slushy—the stress of holiday shopping, and the classic “underwear every year” gifts under the tree, we look forward to the frivolous, chaotic Christmas season all over again every year.
One of the bright spots of this peaceful Christmas season is the colorful “CHRISTMAS KITSCH” program featuring the cats and tomcats of the swing and retro-pop band Lou’s THE COOL CATS.
The COOL CATS not only have classics from days gone by—such as “Jingle Bells” and “Winter Wonderland”—in their repertoire, but they also play songs like “All I Want For Christmas” by Mariah Carey, “Last Christmas” by Wham, or “At Christmas” by Kylie Minogue—and put their own unique spin on them.
