Symposium on Loneliness in Neubrandenburg — Together Against Loneliness: The symposium offers expert insights, a “market of opportunities,” and a space for exchange and discussion. In addition, a project idea will be presented that explores new ways to foster social connections and combat loneliness.
Loneliness affects people of all ages and can arise in various life situations. It is a societal challenge that concerns us all and requires collective action. How can we facilitate connections, strengthen social participation, and support people in finding their way out of loneliness?
The Symposium on Combating Loneliness in Neubrandenburg brings together professionals, initiatives, organizations, institutions, and other interested parties to exchange information about existing services, experiences, and new approaches to preventing and addressing loneliness.
Expert presentations will provide insights and perspectives on the topic of loneliness. At the subsequent “Market of Opportunities,” local stakeholders will showcase their work, present their services, and highlight where people can find support, community, and opportunities to connect with others.
In addition, the symposium offers a space for exchange, discussion, and networking. Together, we want to share experiences, shed light on challenges, and develop ideas on how to effectively address loneliness in Neubrandenburg. The focus will be on how to strengthen existing structures, create new partnerships, and facilitate low-threshold access to community.
The symposium is intended as an invitation to learn from one another, make new connections, and take on shared responsibility. After all, connection fosters community—and together we can help ensure that our region is a place where people feel seen, included, and part of the community.
