Guided Tour for People with Visual Impairments
90 minutes | 5 € plus admission (Admission and the guided tour are free for accompanying persons.)
People with visual impairments and their families or companions can experience the MEERESMUSEUM in their own way during “Week of Sight” on four scheduled dates. During a 90-minute guided tour, they’ll walk around the bronze sculpture of the leatherback turtle “Marlene,” explore the ten-meter-long Bryde’s whale model, and examine a stuffed seal. Various models and real-skin specimens are waiting to be discovered.
The guided tour on October 15, International White Cane Day, is aimed specifically at children and teenagers and their families.

Tickets and Reservations
The tour costs five euros in addition to the museum admission fee. Admission and the guided tour are free for accompanying guests. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 16 people. Tickets are available in advance at the ticket counters. If this is not possible, reservations can be made at museumspaedagogik@meeresmuseum.de. No seat can be guaranteed without prior ticket purchase or registration.
