As part of the LEUCHTFEUER series, the successful author Yvonne Zitzmann from Frankfurt/Oder will be a guest at the Grundtvighaus Sassnitz on Thursday, 18.09.2025 with her freshly printed novel "Geteilte Schule".

The novel tells of motherhood based on two different women's biographies, a crane driver in Frankfurt/Oder in GDR times and a freelance author in the present day, interweaving both lives in a touching story of longing, guilt and forgiveness. A clever, sensitive and cleverly constructed text that courageously tackles the big questions of living together, of men and women, parents and children, East and West.
