Les Arcanes Baroques is a multi-award-winning early music ensemble. The young quartet has captivated audiences and juries alike.
Les Arcanes Baroques is a young chamber music ensemble that is already gaining international attention. Although the ensemble focuses primarily on the Baroque trio sonata repertoire, it also explores string quartets from the Classical period. The musicians met while studying at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and received artistic guidance from leading specialists such as Kati Debretzeni, Richard Egarr, and Patrick Ayrton.
In August 2025, the ensemble received a grant from the Schwarzer Musiksommer in Schwarz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, for a rehearsal residency and a concert in Schwarz. Immediately following this residency, the ensemble won the Audience Prize at the International B. Marini Competition and gave several concerts at the “Oude Muziek” Festival in Utrecht. In May 2026, Les Arcanes Baroques won first prize, as well as the special “Musik im Raum” prize, at the renowned International Handel Competition in Göttingen.
