Lecture Fishing in the Achterwasser and on the coast - yesterday and today
An exciting insight into the history of fishing: from the first settlers, who made their own nets and fish traps, to the great herring migrations of the 19th century, which attracted whole families to the island and gave rise to towns such as Heringsdorf and Trassenheide. An informative talk by Ingo Zander about tradition, change and the maritime way of life.
